InspireLab™ removes the burden of managing individual PCs. Where selected and properly licensed, one central server can use Windows Server with Remote Desktop Services and Hyper-V to power workstations—bringing maintenance, updates and administration into one place. InspireLab™ centralizes compute resources on the server — each thin client runs a virtual desktop hosted there rather than processing locally. Per the InspireLab™ proposal, a Standard Performance configuration is designed to deliver satisfactory performance for typical classroom workloads (office applications, browsers, ERP and school software), comparable to a modern business desktop environment for these applications. For multimedia or graphics-intensive learning, the High Performance (GPU-enabled) configuration shown in this comparison supports gaming and multimedia applications, as described in the proposal. InspireLab™ is not claimed to be universally equivalent to any specific desktop tier, including Core i7 — actual performance depends on the server configuration selected and the applications run.
Server configuration and pricing shown are based on the standard InspireLab™ High Performance (GPU-enabled) deployment bundles and commercial terms in the current proposal (dated September 2024). GST (18%) is additional; Windows® Server academic licensing is not included. Final server sizing, pricing, and validity are confirmed in your dedicated commercial proposal and are subject to revision.
