Privacy Policy

How Juana Technologies collects, uses, shares and protects information across the Inspire ecosystem.

Last updated: 21 July 2026 · Effective date: 21 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Juana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Juana", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in India with its registered office in New Delhi, collects, uses, discloses, retains and safeguards information in connection with this website, InspireBoard™ interactive displays, InspireLab™ computer labs, and related enquiries, demonstrations, sales, installation, training, maintenance and support services (collectively, the "Services").

We handle personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and similar data-protection laws. By using the website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies where we act as a data fiduciary or controller, including for website visitors, prospective customers, school representatives, resource users and people who contact us. If an InspireBoard or InspireLab deployment requires us to process staff or student data on a school's documented instructions, the school remains the data fiduciary or controller and we act as its processor or service provider. That processing is also governed by the applicable quotation, order, services agreement or data-processing terms.

This Policy does not govern third-party websites, software or services that we do not control.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit an enquiry, request a demonstration, assessment, quotation, proposal or resource, or communicate with our sales or support teams, we may collect your name, role, school or organisation, work email, telephone number, city or state, areas of interest, requirements, message and any other information you choose to provide.

Business and service information

When a school purchases or evaluates InspireBoard or InspireLab, we may collect authorised-contact details, delivery and installation information, purchase and invoice records, device or configuration details, warranty and support history, and communications needed to deliver the agreed Services.

Information collected automatically

We and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and dates and times of access. We may use cookies and similar technologies for security, core functionality and performance measurement.

Information from other sources

We may receive relevant business information from schools, authorised channel partners, distributors, installers, service providers or referral partners where necessary to respond to a request or deliver the Services.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data, student records or confidential school information through open website text fields.

3. How we use information

  • respond to enquiries and provide demonstrations, assessments, quotations and proposals;
  • process and administer orders and maintain commercial, tax and invoice records;
  • deliver, configure, install, train, maintain and support InspireBoard and InspireLab;
  • manage warranties, service requests and authorised customer contacts;
  • send service, safety, security and administrative communications;
  • send marketing communications with consent or as otherwise permitted by law, with an option to opt out;
  • secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and Services;
  • prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access; and
  • comply with law, enforce agreements and resolve disputes.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business where those interests do not override your rights, and compliance with legal obligations. Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data on the basis of consent or for legitimate uses permitted by law.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it to:

  • hosting, email, anti-spam, analytics, security, customer-support and other providers working for us under appropriate restrictions;
  • authorised distributors, logistics providers, installers and service partners where needed to quote, deliver, install or support InspireBoard or InspireLab;
  • professional advisers such as auditors, lawyers and accountants;
  • authorities or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, property or safety; and
  • a buyer or successor in a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

Microsoft and customer-selected platforms

InspireLab may be configured with separately licensed Microsoft products such as Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 or Office. If a school enables those products, Microsoft may process diagnostic, account, licensing or service data under the agreement and privacy terms applicable to the school's Microsoft product or account. Juana does not control Microsoft's independent processing. Schools and users should review the Microsoft Privacy Statement, applicable Microsoft Product Terms, the applicable Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum, and their own Microsoft agreement. The same principle applies to other customer-selected third-party platforms.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside India or outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers, including safeguards applicable to data transferred from the EEA or UK.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use strictly necessary cookies to operate securely, remember essential preferences and protect forms from automated abuse, including through Cloudflare Turnstile. We may also use limited performance or analytics technologies. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some may affect functionality. Where required by law, we obtain consent before using non-essential cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including the customer relationship, warranty and support, legal, accounting and tax requirements, dispute resolution and agreement enforcement. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it in accordance with our retention practices.

9. Data processed for schools

If an agreed InspireBoard or InspireLab service requires us to access or process school-managed staff or student information, we do so only on the school's documented instructions and only to provide the contracted service. Access is limited to authorised personnel and appropriate safeguards are applied. The school is responsible for the lawfulness of its instructions, notices and consents, including parental or guardian consent where required. We do not sell student data or use it for targeted advertising.

10. Children's data

This website is intended for adult school representatives, educators and institutional decision-makers, not for direct use by children. Any data relating to minors that is processed as part of a school-authorised service is handled in the institutional context described above and subject to applicable child-data requirements.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating or deletion of personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request a portable copy; or complain to an appropriate authority. We may verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within legally required timeframes.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our practices, products, technologies or legal obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
